Blog with Me

It’s been a while since I’ve had a meet and greet with my followers and I’ve gained a number of followers since the last one. I’m curious about who you are, what you like, what you read, what you write… Whether you’re a blogger, writer, reader, Facebooker, Twitterer, etc. please take a moment to share a little about yourself in the comments below.

Here’s a few questions to get you started. Answer as many or few as you like:

  1. Do you blog? If so, about what?
  2. Are you a writer? What genre(s)?
  3. What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done or plan to do?
  4. If you could pick any book to make into a movie, which book would it be?
  5. Do you have any question(s) for me?

Thanks again for stopping by my blog! I look forward to learning more about you.

  1. Hi Natasha, Yes I blog occasionally when something inspires me.
I write fantasy and science fiction, have one completed novel on Amazon, book two is in production.
I think when I rescued someone from slipping off the side of a mountain while trekking in South America.
A book to movie would have to be Kim Harrison’s books, Rachel Morgan is an awesome character

  2. Hi Katya, thanks for stopping by. Your book Daughter of Light & Dark sounds interesting. Good luck with Book two.

OMG — you are a brave soul. I’m sure the person you rescued is eternally grateful.

I’m a Harrison fan, too. Nice chatting with you. Let me know your blog address, if you get a chance. I’d like to follow you back. 🙂

  3. I’m a writer of romance, a blogger on writing (mostly), and … Heads up. I’m tagging you with a Liebster award on the 10th. 🙂

  4. Hi Natasha! I’m pretty sure you already know this 🙂 but yes I blog, for people who read, write, and teach with picture books. I write picture books primarily, but also novelty books, board books, and one early reader (a slightly younger audience than yours :)) I don’t know if I’ve ever done anything I think is brave. And I always like books better than the movies that get made out of them, so I can’t think of any book I’d like to see as a movie!

    • Hi Susanna! You’re blog is one of the cutest ones I’ve come across. Every time I visit, it leaves me with a smile.

I encourage my other followers to stop by. Especially on a Wednesday. 🙂

  5. You know me, but I’ll answer anyway. 😉

    1. Writing, reading, and industry news.
    2. Yep! Romance (usually paranormal).
    3. Not sure.
    4. I don’t know. I’d be half-afraid of ruining it… LOL
    5. What is your favorite color?

    Hi Natasha,

    I love this idea!

I do have a blog, haven’t you heard of it already? It’s famous with all three of my fabulous followers. 🙂 I blog about writing, writers, and just life in general. I’m not as prolific as I should be, which is why I’m so popular.

I am a writer. I write romantic suspense and I love it. You know what they say, write what you read… or at least, that’s what I say

I think the most bravest thing I’ve ever done is submit my novel for publication. Most writer’s can relate, it’s hard to put yourself out there.

I’m with Carrie on the movie. I don’t want my favs ruined.

What is the bravest thing you have ever done?

  7. Thanks for commenting, Dana. Now you have another follower. 🙂 Everyone, hop on over to Dana’s blog ( and show her some love.

Congrats on the recent release of your novel, Dangerous Embrace!

I totally agree about the submitting for publication thing. It’s nerve wrecking, and then there’s the wait or weight, depending on how you deal with stress. 🙂

The bravest thing I’ve done, public speaking. Ah!

Ha! Thanks, Natasha! I have a few more followers today. 🙂
Public Speaking is no fun. I have to do some public speaking on my day job so I actually took a class on how to improve my public speaking skills. It’s a cross between leadership training and public speaking. It was called The Dale Carnegie Course. It was extremely helpful.
      Thanks again!

I blog mostly about my writing and the writing process, but sometimes other things.

I write 20th century historical fiction and some soft sci-fi. I plan to get back to the 18th and 19th centuries within the next few years, and to write about some earlier eras as well.

I think one of the bravest things I ever did, from my POV, was flying across the ocean for the first time. For years I’d been terrified of my plane crashing if I went overseas. There was some very bad turbulence on one of my last overseas flights, just the kind of thing that would’ve scared me even more the first time.

  9. You know… you should consider making a little blog button thingy and starting a blog hop for this. It’s a great idea! 🙂
